At Axone Consultant, our experiences and interventions have reinforced our belief that successful support for socio-professional integration relies above all on the ability of professionals to help individuals build self-esteem and self-confidence, and to become aware of their abilities — creating a positive dynamic within themselves.
It is therefore essential to enable individuals to recognize their value, not only through formal diplomas or qualifications, but also by identifying and highlighting the skills acquired through experience.
Becoming aware of these competencies helps strengthen beneficiaries’ self-confidence, providing them with an additional lever to succeed in entering the job market.
Professionals must therefore be trained in these dynamics to promote a holistic and supportive approach to skills recognition, essential for the personal and professional development of the individuals they support.
These training programs are part of a broader effort to transfer tools and best practices related to open recognition and the valorization of informal and non-formal skills for individuals engaged in a socio-professional integration pathway or support process.
Acknowledging skills is an act that enhances a person's self-esteem by giving them the means to feel able to act and contribute. Recognizing a skill means making it visible and valuing it, whether formally or informally, which has a positive impact on self-esteem. In a professional context, the open recognition of skills deserves to be supported by concrete tools. Thanks to digital technology, it is now possible to formalize and attest to acquired skills through a portfolio of evidence, thus reinforcing their legitimacy and helping to remobilize the individual being supported, as well as facilitating the definition of a socio-professional integration project.
